Is the free scan really free forever?
Yes. The product thesis is that every Shopify store should know their baseline — the free scan is a permanent public utility, not a trial. We expect a small fraction of free-scan users to upgrade to Pro for the bulk auto-fix, and that pays for the free tier's infrastructure.
How does the Pro price compare to a human SEO / catalog audit?
A one-off catalog audit from a DTC agency typically runs $1,500–$5,000 and gives you a PDF. Pro gives you the same audit every week automatically, plus actually executes the fixes — for $588/year. If a single bulk metafield fill surfaces one extra AI-agent-referred order at $80 AOV that wouldn't have landed otherwise, the month is paid for.
What does Pro do in the first 30 minutes after I connect it?
Reads your catalog, runs the full 18-signal scan, computes the per-product gaps (which variants are missing GTINs, which products have thin or AI-unfriendly descriptions, which metafields Shopify expects that aren't filled). Shows you a prioritized list of fixes. Any bulk action requires explicit approval and dry-runs first — nothing touches your live products without a confirm-the-change step.
How accurate is the free scan?
For the 15 public-data signals: identical to Pro. The 3 we can't check without authentication — MPN enrichment, Google product category depth, native product taxonomy — require a read-only Shopify Admin API token. If your public signals are all green, your Admin-API signals usually track the same shape; Pro just confirms it and gives you the knobs to change it.
Will Pro ever actually write to my store without asking?
No. Every bulk change goes through a diff-view preview and a dry-run mode first. The undo ledger means any change can be reversed in one click. The OAuth scopes we ask for are read/write on products + metafields + product listings — nothing on orders, customers, or financials.
When can I sign up for Pro?

Do you have enterprise / 50+ store pricing?
Yes — message @bitinvestigator on X. For agencies running 50+ client stores we have a custom plan with API access (pull scan data into internal dashboards) and a dedicated support channel.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancellation is immediate and takes effect at the end of the billing cycle — you keep Pro access for the month you paid. After that, your store reverts to the free scan (you keep your public scorecard URL). No data retention lock-in — export your full scan history as CSV any time.
